Hi, my name is Ruth (Aguirre) Man-Ging. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Information and Computer Science, and my story behind the store begins with my deep passion for the world of art.
My love for crochet started when I was a child. My step-grandmother taught me the basic stitch by hand, and my mother later taught me another stitch using a crochet hook. I practiced for months, but eventually lost interest in the craft. This was long before the internet existed, so I didn’t have access to the vast resources of tutorials and patterns that are available now.
Many years passed until a friend and I were talking about crochet. I became curious to see what I could find online, and I was amazed by the amount of information and inspiration available. I decided to give it another try and bought some materials to get started. It didn’t take long before I fell in love with the craft once again.
From there, my passion for crochet and knitting grew. I spent countless hours honing my skills and creating beautiful pieces, and eventually decided to start my own store where I can share my love for knitting and crocheting with the world. I believe that handmade items have a special kind of magic that you just can’t find in store-bought items. They’re more personal, more meaningful, and more special.
With every stitch, every knot, every twist of the thread, I pour my heart into every piece that I make. Each creation is a reflection of my soul, a manifestation of my love for all things yarn and all things handmade.
